Mmmm, donuts...
It's National Donut Day and I was not informed? My sister is taking Prima to the library to take part in their special celebration, but sub-kindergardners are not allowed, so she has to park Secunda at a friend's.
Curious, I took to the Internet. According to TheTeachersCorner.net (The Teacher Scorner?), Sunday was Donut Day, today is Gingerbread Day, and next week we observe the birthdays of Anne Frank, Donald Duck, Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen and Frank Lloyd Wright. And get ready for Yo-Yo Day (not to be confused with Yo-Yo Ma's birthday) and Magic Day.
Well! I'll not complain of boredom this or any other week! I'd better pull down everything on my bulletin board and cut out some brown-paper gingerbread squares!
But what's going on there at the Haddon Township library that preschoolers can't see?
Unbelievably, the Sox are in first place in the AL East.
