Cows and Monkees
SandyCamp took some pictures this weekend of my bovine friends. Above are the two lovey calves who always, always have their heads together, whether they're standing or lying down. And this little gel mass was born just minutes before we arrived at the barn:

In other news, Sister Nilla writes that I am frightening her with all my baseball talk, and that Prima and Secunda have become huge Monkees fans. "Singing along in the car, arguing over who is better - Prima seems to favor Mickey while Secunda likes Peter. 'Remember when Peter had the hiccups, Daddy?' "
That is a very Secunda choice, Peter. She also loves Murray from the Wiggles...she loves the silly boys.
No one has told me yet whether Vermont should secede. I'm waiting!
