Does anyone know whether wine and beer contain ingredients derived from animals? My Internet search has turned up rather sketchy information about crushed beetles and fishes' swim bladders but I can't really tell whether these are widespread practices. I have, though, learned a marvelous new term to describe cider: scrumpy. As in "Scrumpy type ciders are less likely to have been fined" (filtered through gelatin). I liked "The Brown Bunny" quite a lot, and I'm also liking the new Prada perfume.
