beulahbondo's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Taste test The nice folks at Dr. Pepper were handing out free cans of the new flavor, "Diet Berries and Cream," today in Harvard Square. It doesn't particularly taste like any kind of berry, or like cream. It tastes like vanilla, maybe a little like black cherry (soda, not fruit). Like all diet sodas it tastes a little assy. I didn't finish it. There you have it. Also, Paul McCartney and the second Mrs. McCartney have announced their separation and are somehow blaming it on the media. Do you think it's really because she wanted to be in his band and he said, "No luv, that only goes round once"? Anyway, Prima will be thrilled. Also, I got two haircuts in four days. The first one was a disaster. I looked like a bush in a box. The second one is better but it's too short to twist up and out, and I feel like a big moppy head of hair. It's a little like my mid-80s short-lived Echo and the Bunnymen do, aka the mushroom cloud. I'm going to Atlanta tonight.
