In which Beulah gets her tired culo online

En culo (sp?) a la ballena -- in the tail (ass) of the whale

They *hate* all American coffee - even the strong kind -- as much as I hate inferior American coffee. Last night four of the boys and I went to an Italian cafe in the Back Bay for espresso and they were ecstatic and all the way home talked excitedly in newly reinvigorated English about the Pope (they call him "Ratzinger" like he's a sitcom character) and gay marriage and drinking laws. Boston is bellissimo, they say, except for the no drinking under 21, and they seem to approve of the gay marriage. We didn't get to abortion.
